We are looking for an Senior QA Specialist for a long‑term remote project starting in February 2026. The role is focused on data testing and data quality, so strong experience with SQL (SQL Server) and database testing is essential.

Job description

• Perform data testing, data validation, and data quality checks across large datasets
• Write and execute complex SQL queries (SQL Server) to verify data accuracy and consistency
• Test ETL processes, data pipelines, and database logic
• Identify data inconsistencies, anomalies, and quality issues
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to resolve defects
• Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and documentation
• Ensure high‑quality data delivery for reporting, analytics, and downstream systems
• Contribute to improving data testing standards and QA processes

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing / QA
• Strong hands‑on experience with SQL (SQL Server)
• Proven experience with database testing and typical DB structures
• Experience with data analytics, data‑driven testing, or data quality frameworks is a strong advantage
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Fluent English (Slovak is a nice‑to‑have, not required)
• Availability to start in February 2026
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience with BI tools or data visualization
• Knowledge of ETL tools or data integration platforms
• Familiarity with data governance or data quality frameworks
• Experience in Agile environments
