Short description

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with strong React and TypeScript experience for a remote contractor cooperation.

The role is focused on building and improving modern enterprise web applications with clean architecture, reusable components, secure access, API integrations and production-ready delivery.

You will work on frontend development, integration with backend services, performance optimization, testing and technical decision-making. Experience with Python backend/API development is an advantage, but not a strict requirement.

Ideally, we are looking for one independent senior candidate who can cover the React / TypeScript frontend and also has some overlap with Python backend/API development. Python experience is a strong advantage, but not a strict requirement if the candidate is very strong on the frontend and API integration side.

Job description

• Design and develop modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Build reusable, scalable and maintainable frontend components.
• Work on responsive and user-friendly interfaces for enterprise users.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
• Support secure access handling and permission-based UI behaviour.
• Work with configurable application behaviour and multi-language interfaces where needed.
• Handle loading, empty, validation, error and save states in production-ready applications.
• Contribute to testing, CI/CD, monitoring and release readiness.
• Analyse and troubleshoot frontend, API and performance-related issues.
• Work independently as a senior contractor and communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders.
• Document technical decisions and implementation approach.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with modern frontend development and component-based architecture.
• Good understanding of API integrations.
• Experience with authentication, authorization or permission-based access is an advantage.
• Experience with state management such as Redux, Context API, React Query/TanStack Query or similar.
• Ability to build maintainable, testable and production-ready frontend solutions.
• Experience with testing, CI/CD and code quality practices.
• Strong ownership, independence and ability to work without heavy supervision.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Python backend/API development experience is an advantage.
• Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps or enterprise applications is a plus.
