Short description

We are looking for a Senior PingAuthorize DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in PingAuthorize, policy-based access control, DevOps automation, and enterprise authorization services.

The role focuses on developing, configuring, automating, and operating secure authorization solutions, including fine-grained access control policies, API integrations, CI/CD pipelines, and reliable production environments.

You will work closely with IAM architects, security specialists, software developers, DevOps teams, and operations engineers to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available authorization services throughout the full delivery lifecycle.

Job description

• Configure, develop, and operate PingAuthorize-based authorization services.
• Implement policy-based access control and fine-grained authorization models.
• Integrate PingAuthorize with IAM platforms, APIs, applications, and backend services.
• Develop and maintain authorization policies, rules, and decision services.
• Automate deployments, configuration management, testing, and operational processes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for IAM and authorization components.
• Monitor system performance, availability, security, and operational health.
• Investigate and resolve incidents and technical issues.
• Support releases, upgrades, environment management, and production deployments.
• Work closely with IAM architects, developers, security specialists, and operations teams.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with PingAuthorize.
• Strong knowledge of authorization concepts and policy-based access control.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and distributed enterprise architectures.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and REST APIs.
• Strong DevOps experience, including CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure management.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or comparable platforms.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Python, Bash, JavaScript, or comparable scripting technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with PingAM, PingAccess, or ForgeRock.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise or telecommunications environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Experience with monitoring and logging platforms.
• Ping Identity certifications.
• German or Spanish language skills are an advantage.
